This umami-packed salmon dish gets an instant flavor boost from McCormick Culinary® Spicy Furikake Seasoning – a savory blend including toasted sesame seeds and seaweed flakes. Serve this Furikake Salmon with steamed rice and snow peas for a complete dish.
Ingredients
2 tbsps Japanese-Style Mayonnaise, such as Kewpie®
1/2 tsp Soy Sauce, Reduced Sodium
1/2 tsp Wasabi Paste (Optional)
4 tsps Small Batch Series ® McCormick Culinary Spicy Furikake Seasoning
1 1/2 pounds Salmon, Cut into 4 Portions
Procedure
Prep
1. Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, and wasabi in small bowl. Hold for service.
Service
1. Place salmon, skin side down, on parchment-lined sheet pan. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over salmon. Sprinkle Furikake Seasoning evenly over mayonnaise mixture.
2. Bake at 400°F, 15 to 18 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve immediately with hot cooked white rice.
